Combe’s Covid guidelines updated

Please refer to the attached risk assessment which sets out how the pavilion may be used whilst we are subject to Covid health risks.

A key part of the risk assessment was identifying “pinch points” where people cannot maintain social distancing of 2 metres. To avoid these, it was decided to maintain the following main principles:

  1. The changing rooms, kitchen and store room are out of bounds and will not be available for use
  2. Access to the main hall is permitted to ensure female and male access to the toilets in the main hall through the double entry doors. No more than one person may access the toilets and one person in the queue at any one time.
  3. In general circumstances, no other access will be allowed and events users will be encouraged to serve food snacks and drinks outside. The policy will be reviewed in the winter months.
  4. If it is necessary to admit people to the main hall for other purposes than using the toilets, e.g. if it is raining, then a capacity constraint of six people maximum is to be applied with strict social two metre distancing.
